Rotate Mailer App Reviews

I generally dont pay for apps unless theyre for business applications and I also dont often review apps. But this one deserves both the $1.99 and a positive review. There may be other apps that do the same thing but I chose this one and am happy I did for its simplicity and seamless interaction with my mail accounts. It happens far too often that my iPhone photos show up sideways. Most on the receiving end know how to flip a photo (and those who receive a sideways photo typically wont mention it). My 80 year old mother is one who doesnt know without calling me (her IT specialist by default). What I like most about the app is that it doesnt ask me to access my contacts to send the mail through some 3rd party mail app. It opens in my iPhone mail app and just drops the photo(s) in, letting me use whichever email address I want to send it from to whoever I want - without being intrusive. I typically wont send more than a few photos in one email so its limit of 4 photos at a time doesnt bother me at all. Well worth it.

Apple should provide this option. Til then, this app is what you need.

Very easy to use and now my e-mailed pics are not sideways or upside down. Easy fix to a wierd problem.

I purchased this app because of a problem I encountered sending pictures from my iPad to a PC. All the pictures were received upside down. After installing this app, I sent the same pictures from my iPad to the same PC. This time the pictures were received on their sides, but the email had a bar with tools allowing me to rotate them to the correct orientation. Not really what Id hoped for, but better than the first situation where I had to download the pictures into a photo program to correct the orientation. If Im doing something wrong, please advise.

Now my friends dont have to turn their heads when I email them a photo!

This is one of he best apps out there - solved all my problems of sending email photos from my ipad to pcs and having people tell you they came sideways.

This is a great, easy to use, never an error app to send photos and have them arrive right side up. a winner.

All my emailed pics to a PC were received sideways (90 degrees to the left). This problem occurred with recipient using: webmail gmail, yahoo, hotmail even Thunderbird and Outlook desktop clients! I Googled: iPhone pic sideways and found this App. I previously spent a total of three hours during two different calls with Apple Care level 2 techs. They were not aware of the issue! Hard to believe after I Googled and found tons of articles on upside down or sideways pics. I now understand that the EXIF orientation flag/tag contained within iPhone pics is not being read by many email and photo displaying programs. I want you to know that your App has completely solved my issue on my 4S. I wish I Googled the issue before wasting so much time with Apple Care.

Excellent app. As an avid iPhone photographer I use it constantly. Couldnt live without it.

Rotate Mailer is fast, easy and helpful. I wish I would have discovered it a lot sooner. Makes sending up to four pictures a breeze.

came across this app on a discussion board regarding rotation issues with Wordpress. It works perfectly, and doesnt add anything that doesnt need to be there. Add any photo, Portrait?landscape, email as normal from within the app. done. It does all the rest.

At first I thought that it wasnt working because I used the app and shared/saved the image with same name as the original sideways photo. Now that I saved the image with a unique name and uploaded it to WordPress, the image is correct. Thx for this fix.

Simple and easy to use.

I found this application to be just what I was looking for. It does just what it was designed to do. It straightens up your photos so when you resend them they are not sideways. No bells and whistles on this. Send 4 photos at a time and you pick the size. Couldnt be easier. This developer gave us just what we needed at a very reasonable price. Thank You !

Best part about the update is you can use it from the photos app!
